At LEDfix, we respect your right to control your personal information. If you no longer wish to use your LEDfix account, you can permanently delete your account and request deletion of the personal information associated with it.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to Delete Your LEDfix Account

You can delete your LEDfix account directly from the mobile app or request account deletion through our website.

Option 1: Delete Your Account from the LEDfix Mobile App

  1. Open the LEDfix mobile application.
  2. Sign in to your account.
  3. Open your Profile or Account section.
  4. Select Settings.
  5. Select Account or Privacy & Security.
  6. Tap Delete Account.
  7. Review the account deletion information displayed on screen.
  8. Confirm that you want to permanently delete your account.
  9. Complete any required identity or security verification.
  10. Confirm Delete Account.

Once the deletion request has been confirmed, your account will be scheduled for deletion and you may be signed out of the application.

Option 2: Delete Your Account Through the LEDfix Website

If you no longer have access to the LEDfix mobile application, you can request deletion through our website.

  1. Visit https://ledfix.ng/
  2. Sign in to your LEDfix account, if website account access is available.
  3. Open your Account, Profile, or Settings page.
  4. Select Delete Account or Delete My Data.
  5. Follow the instructions provided.
  6. Confirm that you want to permanently delete your account.

Please include the email address or phone number associated with your LEDfix account so that we can identify and verify the account.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account?

When your account deletion request is processed, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with your LEDfix account where applicable.

This may include:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Account profile information
  • Saved account information
  • Location information associated with your account
  • Uploaded photographs and other files associated with your account
  • Account preferences
  • Account-related application data
  • Service and repair information associated with your personal account, where deletion is legally permitted

Where information has been shared with service providers that process data on our behalf, we will take reasonable steps to request deletion of the relevant information where applicable.

Information We May Retain

Some information may need to be retained for a limited period where required or permitted by law.

For example, LEDfix may retain certain transaction, payment, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, warranty, dispute-resolution, or legal records where necessary to:

  • Enforce agreements

Account Deletion Is Not the Same as Uninstalling the App

Simply uninstalling the LEDfix application from your phone does not delete your LEDfix account or information stored on our servers.

To permanently delete your account, please use the account deletion option in the application or submit a deletion request through the LEDfix website.

Active Repairs, Payments, or Outstanding Matters

If you have an active repair request, pending payment, unresolved dispute, warranty claim, or other outstanding transaction, LEDfix may need to retain limited information necessary to complete, document, or resolve that matter.

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a financial obligation or remove records that LEDfix is legally required or permitted to retain.

Processing Time

We will process account deletion requests within a reasonable period and in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.

The time required may depend on the nature of the information, whether verification is required, and whether certain information must be retained for legal, financial, security, or other legitimate purposes.

We will provide confirmation when your deletion request has been completed where appropriate.
